Making of ‘Mess around and find out’ in Cape Town

We travelled to Cape Town and stayed in a suburb called Bo-Kaap. In the evening we went to watch One Republic, the first major concert I could see since the Covid-19 pandemic became under control. The culture, bustle, and ancestry of the Bo-Kaap community inspired my first music video – Mess around and find out – a cover (with a slightly modified title) of the incredible song by Polyphia.
